Reverse engineering local government

The more I see what’s going on in the world, the madder I get. The hubris attached to those who think money is the end all be all to life on this planet is disgusting….it’s an addiction and the impacts to the ‘family’ and community are ubiquitous and disastrous.

What I’m finding is that we, as community members, need to reverse engineer the structures of local government. Our public entities have been infiltrated by speculators and schemers, those who would see our rights as a commodity to be trifled with.

This is why I’m putting out the call for people who want to flip the game on government and industry. They have had us ‘on the run’ for two years, at least. Time to flip the game.

I have two books that I think are important to help us understand and break down the way that codes and ordinances are being manipulated to favor government. This isn’t new, let’s be clear. It’s as old as politics. What might be considered ‘new’ is how industry and agency are using models intended to create collaboration in service to sensible environmental and civic planning to create an imbalanced favor for industry.

Coupled with the fact that industry PAYS PEOPLE an annual salary to interface with our local representatives, allowing them ample time to craft their schemes and shenanigans while the majority of us are working to serve our own bosses, whose schemes and shenanigans might be less destructive to our civil liberties. *depends on where you work and who you work for.

It will take all of us, and each one of us brings unique perspectives and gifts to this work.

If you are interested, let me know. I am not willing to publish the details and substance of the workshop publicly. email me at abetterportfuture at gmail
